Welcoming Rabbi Eitan Kupietzky as Shabbat Scholar May 17-18
Rabbi Kupietzky, a grandson of JCAB Member Rabbi Harris Guedalia, recently concluded 184 days of IDF reserve duty as a Head Combat Medic. He is Managing Director of the Gimmel Foundation, a nonprofit that runs after-school clubs and camps for children at risk in the south of Israel. A popular lecturer and author, he lives in Adora, north of Mount Hebron, with his wife and eight children. He will be speaking about his IDF service, the heartbreak of losing family members in battle, how Jewish law responds to war, and responding to the needs of families impacted by the war.
